Although 2005 was Larry C. Johnson's first year
as a Rookie Member of the Breeders Greeters
Committee, he quickly showed his enthusiasm and
dedication to HLS&R. His company, Loomis
International, Inc. became a member of the Twenty
Grand Club when they teamed up with Patsy &
Wayne Turner, the Chickadees, and Lady Lips to buy
the 2005 Grand Champion Turkey. Larry could not
attend the Auction that day because he was driving
a tractor at the Swine Sift in Brenham, but his
lovely fiancée (now wife), Deanna L. Johnson, did the
honors for him. Larry is now a member of the
Poultry Committee as well as Breeders Greeters and
for the second year Deanna is on the BBQ Food
Service Committee.
