When it comes to
supporting the HLSR Junior Auctions, one cannot
help mentioning Wayne and
Patsy Turner. In addition to supporting the
Poultry Auction Committee, they support all the
other HLSR junior auctions. With their generosity,
the youth of our great state are able to
accomplish things that might otherwise not been
possible.

Greg
Miller has been a life member of the
Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and he has been a
member of the Poultry Auction Committee since
2000. In June 2004, Greg was elected on the
HLS&R Board of Directors. Greg is a vital part
of the Poultry Auction committee as he volunteers
countless hours whenever he is needed. He has
always been available for special projects and is
the one responsible for the new electronic card
entry into the BBQ tent. Not only does Greg offer
his time, he has been there over and over again
for the youth of Texas. Since 2000, Greg has
contributed over $300,000 to fund scholarships for
the Youth of Texas. |

RECRUITMENT

That’s
right!
The Poultry Auction Committee is
recruiting new members. We are looking for a few good
people to serve on and help raise money to support the
youth of America. Why just go to the Rodeo when you can
join the Poultry Auction Committee (PAC), and be
a part of a winning team? In 2004 PAC has
contributed more to the education fund than any other
Junior Livestock Auction Committee.
