We welcome guest speaker Helen McCole Bartusiak of Clear Lake.  Ms. Bartusiak is a wife, mother of two, private acting coach, and successful promoter for her daughter Skye McCole Bartusiak.  Skye was born in Houston in September of 1992, and has appeared in numerous feature films and on many major networks.  Including Warner Bros., Mirimax, Columbia, ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox. (Visit www.skyemccolebartusiak.com for more information.)  Skye will likely be home with her dog Pippa.  However, Helen will speak about booking films from home and the marketing tools that bring success.  Press Packets, DVD interactive demo, Publicity Packets, Post Cards, how she gets addresses, and the importance of a link to the IMDB page for reference.  She will also talk about audition mistakes, and the failures and success of her own acting career.  Helen says she is open and receptive to any questions our members or guests may have and hopes that her experience may be helpful to others.

A note from the V.P.  I spoke personally with Helen McCole Bartusiak.  She mentioned the incredible.  They never attend an open call, and never meet the director/producer before the day of the shoot "unless they're on their last leg."  Helen and Skye returned from a movie shoot this summer in New Zealand, and with her travel schedule we are lucky to have Helen at The Actors Roundtable.  Last but not least, congratulations t! o Skye on receiving the Best of Show Award at the Gulf Coast Film Festival on behalf of Director Paul Gutrecht, of Venice, CA.
