The Gulf Coast Film & Video Festival Continues it's annual presentation and awards for independent films and movies. This festival has brought many films and viewers into the Nassau Bay, Clear Lake, Webster, and Kemah Area.

With a large pool of media talent in texas from actors, producers, directors, and cameramen, the GCFVF hopes to bring budding film makers into the spotlight.

With the Gulf Coast becoming a more natural filming location, all branches of the film industry have a chance to show their skills with independent films. The GFCFVF hopes to allow everyone to participate, even those directors that have been too shy to show their films in the past.

Houston is becoming a budding media center, indepndent films, and filming staff are continuing to increase in number. These new "media entrepeneurs" can view the GCFVF as a beginning of their dreams come true.

The GCFVF hopes that everybody interested in in film and media attend the festival to show their support for the acting and film industries.

This year we are happy to announce that mr. Barry Corbin, star of film, television, and stage, is scheduled to attend this year's festival. Mr. Corbin will be recieving a Lifetime Acheivement Award at this year's Annual Award Dinner on Sept. 20th.
